How to Zero Liquid-Filled Gauges
    1. Locate the vent hole on the gauge. It is usually a small hole with a rubber stopper or a brass pin.
    2. Insert a fingernail or a small screwdriver into the vent hole and apply pressure*. This will release the pressure in the gauge and the pointer will return to zero.
    3. If the gauge has a brass pin, you may need to pull the pin out to release the pressure.
    4. Once the pressure is released, the pointer should return to zero. If it does not, you may need to repeat the steps above.

*NOTE: Be careful when pushing on the stopper; it has the potential to fall into the gauge, and will be difficult to remove.
